Drach Caves
Located in Porto Cristo, 30 km from our hotel, these caves are famous for their underground lake, Martel Lake, one of the world’s largest. The visit includes a boat ride across the lake, accompanied by a live classical music concert, creating a magical experience.

Hams Caves
Also near Porto Cristo, 1 km from the Drach Caves, these caves are renowned for their unique “hook” formations, offering a one-of-a-kind visual spectacle. Audiovisual projections enrich the tour, providing historical and mythical insights, making it educational and entertaining for both adults and children.

Planning your visit
The easiest way to get to Porto Cristo from Hotel Cala d’Or is by renting a car and taking the Ma-4010 road, which will get you there in about 35 minutes. Taxis and private transport are also available.

Be sure to book tickets in advance, especially during peak season. Both caves offer guided tours in various languages, providing historical and geological insights.

To make the most of your day, combine a visit to both caves. Start at Hams in the morning, enjoy lunch in Porto Cristo, and visit the Drach Caves in the afternoon. It’s a perfect day of exploration and discovery.
